TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
The Tucson Rodeo parade kicks off Thursday morning at 9 a.m. and final preparations are underway today.
Parade organizers say there are approximately 140 float entries, 700 horses, 78 wagons and buggies and 10 marching bands.
Today, crews will decorate many of the floats and wagons.
The parade route starts on Ajo Way, heads south on Park Ave, west on Irvington, and north on 6th Ave. It will end at the Tucson Rodeo grounds. To see a map of it, click here.
Parade organizers estimate 200,000 people will line the parade route.
Parking is wherever you can find it and is on a first come, first serve basis.
It's free to watch the parade. However, if you don't feel like bringing your own chair, you can purchase tickets to sit on the grandstands. Adults cost $7 and children $5. You can buy the grandstand tickets on site or online here.
