TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A man died after his PT Cruiser collided head-on with a truck on State Route 86 Wednesday night, according to DPS officials.

The crash happened just west of Valencia along State Route 86 near mile post 158. DPS said that the man driving the PT Cruiser was hit when his car crossed over the lane line and he collided with the truck. 

The driver of the PT Cruiser died on the scene. The driver of the truck suffered no major injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
