TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A man died from his injuries after being struck by a pickup truck on Tucson's southwest side on Wednesday night.

According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, William Marcus, 29, was struck shortly after 7 p.m. near the intersection of West Tetakusim Road and South Sparrow Avenue, which is near West Valencia Road and South Camino de Oeste.

The driver of the pickup was not cited.

The Pima County medical examiner will perform a forensic examination to determine whether Marcus was impaired by drugs or alcohol.
