Dzau, MD, chancellor for health affairs, Duke University, president and CEO, Duke University Health System, and the James B. Duke Professor of Medicine, yesterday was named president of the Institute of Medicine (IOM). The IOM is the health arm of the National Academy of Sciences.
"It has been an honor for me to work with Dr. Dzau as an AAHC member and during his tenure on the Board," said AAHC President and CEO Dr. Steven A. Wartman.
