Report: Hikers help unconscious man in Catalina Mountains

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Golder Ranch Fire District crews caught up with a hiker who was unconscious in the Catalina Mountains.

Officials said a group of hikers found an elderly man who didn't appear to be breathing. Crews say it appears he hit his head.

The hikers performed CPR for about 30 minutes.

A life net helicopter transported him to a nearby hospital. It was not clear what his condition was.

    The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's help locating 17-year-old Anthony Garcia. The teen is described as Hispanic, 5'10" tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Although he is in his late teens, according to the release, he has special needs and functions at a much younger age.
