InventHelp, a leading invention submission company, is submitting the Automobile Hail Protector to companies in the hopes of their feedback and consideration.
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) February 24, 2014
If you park your vehicle outdoors, you are leaving it exposed to the elements. In the event of inclement weather, the ravages of Mother Nature might mar the paint or cause other body damage. To avoid this, an inventor from Guthrie, Okla., developed the Automobile Hail Protector.
The accessory prevents small dents and chips in the paint caused by hail, falling tree limbs and wind-blown debris while parked outdoors. This saves the user from having to pay for expensive repairs. The cover provides added peace of mind when leaving the vehicle parked outdoors.
The invention is adaptable for use with any automobile. The cover also guards against sunlight, bird droppings, acid rain, airborne dust and snow. Furthermore, the device is easy to attach and remove.
The inventor's personal experience inspired her idea. "I wanted to be able to protect vehicles parked outdoors in inclement weather," she said. "Hailstones can ruin a vehicle's paint job, causing hundreds or thousands of dollars worth of damage. To avoid this, I came up with this protective cover."
The original design was submitted to the Oklahoma City office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
