TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

With the Pima County Fair around the corner, new hires are needed through the upcoming job fair.

Employment applications that can be downloaded from PimaCountyFair.com include open positions in admissions, carnival, clean-up crew, customer service, food service, parking, security and shuttle and water truck drivers, according to fair officials. The applications are in the "About Us" section under "Employment."

The job fair will be held Saturday, March 22 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Pima County Fairgrounds Sunset Cantina at 11300 S. Houghton Road, about one mile south of Interstate 10. Applicants will need to bring government required identification per Form I-9 and are required to pass a background check.

The temporary staff is needed to work throughout April, according to a news release.
