    Arizona sophomore quarterback Khalil Tate was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

University of Arizona basketball player Nick Johnson is one of the 10 national semifinalists for the 2014 Naismith Trophy.

The Wildcats Junior guard is the only player from the Pac-12 among the semifinalists.

Johnson led the Wildcats in scoring, averaging 16.2 points per game. He is second on the team in assists (2.7) and steals (1.1).

He is shooting a career-best 45.1 percent and 76.9 percent from the free throw line. He is also at a career high in rebounds (3.9).

Johnson has also been named as a finalist for the Oscar Robertson National Player of the Year Trophy. He was chosen as the Most Outstanding Player at the NIT Season Tip-Off.

The four Naismith finalists will be announced on March 23.
