More than 2,000 people are expected in Phoenix for a conference on managing nuclear waste.

The four-day 40th Annual Nuclear Waste Management Conference at the Phoenix Convention Center starts Sunday and will include scientists from Japan's Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant.

Representatives from 25 different countries will take part in panels on the education and management of radioactive material and related topics.
