BBB offering own review service for customers

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Writing a review about a business is a pretty common thing these days, but in some cases the reviews could be made up or not completely true.

The Better Business Bureau of Southern Arizona now has its own review service that could help many businesses out.  Since its January 2014 launch the site has received 150 reviews with 62 percent being positive.

This new BBB service allows customers to voice opinions about any of the businesses that have a report with the BBB.  According to the BBB they are taking this new review service one step farther and are verifying the person posting the review did actually have an interaction with the business they are reviewing.

The BBB will also contact reviewers who post a negative review and ask for a form of resolution and encourage them to use the BBB's free dispute resolution service.

Businesses that are the subject of a review will also have the opportunity to submit replies directly to a post.

Consumers who would like to post their own reviews on local BBB businesses, simply go online to www.bbb.org/tucson and click on the 'customer review' in the right sidebar of the business review page.
