Testimony begins for man accused in fatal gas station shooting

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Testimony began Tuesday in the murder trial against Quincy Allen.

Allen is accused of fatally shooting Laquan Dunbar, also known as Laquan Gregory, back in April 2013 at a north Toledo gas station. Witnesses told police they saw Dunbar arguing with Allen just moments before shots rang out.

Allen was previously offered a plea deal, but he turned it down, wanting to go to trial.

The trial is scheduled to last all week long.
