Sheriff: Corrections officer arrested for sexual misconduct with minor

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Pima County corrections officer was arrested Wednesday for alleged sexual misconduct with a minor, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

According to a news release, Yennifer Reyes is accused of being sexually involved with a minor female beginning in late 2013.

Reyes was to the Pima County Adult Detention Center and booked on one count of sexual conduct with a minor, 15 years of age or older, the release said.

Reyes had been with the Sheriff's Department since May 2005. The Sheriff's Department was in the process of terminating Reyes when she resigned today.
