Head-on crash leaves 1 dead, 2 injured

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A head-on collision on Tucson's southeast side has left one man dead and two people injured.

The crash occurred at about 2 p.m. in the northbound lanes of South Kolb Road between East Irvington and East Valencia roads, near Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

Tucson Police say Kolb is expected to be closed in both directions until at least 5:30 p.m. while the accident is investigated.
