TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A 32-year-old man died as a result of his injuries from a 2 car accident on Broadway and Sherwood Village Drive Saturday night, according to Tucson Police Department PIO Chris Widmer.

The man, Bobby Patridge, was driving a PT Cruiser and the other car was a Chevy Trailblazer driven by a 47-year-old woman. The PT Cruiser attempted to make a u-turn at Sherwood Village Drive and rear ended the Chevy heading eastbound on Broadway.

Patridge was taken to the hospital where police say he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Chevy was not hurt.

Detectives believe that alcohol and speed may have been a factor in the accident.
