    A crash involving multiple cars caused traffic delays on Silverbell Road at Belmont on Saturday, officials said.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

On Sunday March 9, the Grand Canyon RegionalCommunications Center received a report of an unresponsive man near the SouthEntrance Station, according to a National Park Service (NPS) release.

A NPS Ranger was near the South Entrance Station andarrived on scene within moments of the call. According to the release the ranger initiated CPR and used an automatedexternal defibrillator (AED) until the paramedics arrived, however all effortsto revive the West Virginia man were unsuccessful. 

The man, identified as Brain Brewer had beenvisiting the Grand Canyon with family. He told family he was not feeling well and had been heading back to hishotel when he became unresponsive, according to the release.

NPS is conducting an investigation into theincident, in cooperation with the Coconino County Medical Examiner.  No further information is available at this time.
