Pima County and the city ofTucson have created a resource to help the public find housing assistance.
The website, called HousingHelp and Resources, asks the user to fill out questions to determine which ofthe 62 housing programs offered by 22 providers he or she would be eligible for.
Once the interactive questionnaireis filled out, the website will list one or more housing programs available,whether there is a wait list and program contact information.
The "Rental Housing" sectionof the website has approximately 2,100 rental listings in Tucson and PimaCounty. The website will filter the results based on the user's requirements,such as cost of rent, apartment size, location and whether the rental is near abus line.
The public can findinformation about tenant and landlord rights home repair and weatherization, foreclosure counseling, rentand utility assistance under the "Find Resources" section.
The Housing Help andResources website is available in multiple languages at www.PimaCountyHelp.org. All informationremains anonymous.
