    A troubling and alarming old game has resurfaced on social media. Teens across the country are passing out to get high, and the consequences could be deadly.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A local nonprofit organization that aims to support students and teachers within Tucson Unified School District announced its spring shoe giveaway events.

Eligible TUSD students will receive as new pair of shoes and socks from Payless Shoe Source, according to an Educational Enrichment Foundation news release.

The first shoe shopping party, sponsored by PICOR Charitable Foundation,will take place at store on 22nd and Kolb on March 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Rincon Optimist Club will sponsor the next shoe distribution event on March 28 at the Payless store near Interstate 19 and Irvington, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

EEF organizes three shoe shopping spree events every year. Last August, nearly 200 TUSD K-12 students participated.
