    Mann Packing has issued a voluntary recall of many vegetable products after Listeria monocytogenes was found in a sample. Listeria can cause serious even deadly infections in kids and people with weak immune systems.  The recalled products have “best if used by” dates from October 11 to October 20, and were distributed throughout the U.S. and Canada. TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The white tents are set up, butvolunteers are still needed before the Tucson Festival of Books takes over the Universityof Arizona campus this weekend. 

It takes an army of volunteers,more than 2,000 according to organizers, to help set the event up and keep itgoing.  And numbers for 2014 are stilllooking slim, as organizers are looking for at least 100 volunteers to help insome of the following areas -

AuthorEvents Access Management (35 slots available)

AuthorEvents Monitors (6 slots available)

CleanUp (click to see shift) (12 slots available)

Friendsof the Festival (3 slots available)

SurpriseMe (MM) (2 slots available)

Organizers are also looking for people to dress as characters from various books and walk around the festival.

The Tucson Festival of Books isone of the largest events of its kind in the U.S.  The festival will take place this weekendMarch 15 & 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day.
