NYC fire dept. responds to report of explosion

NEW YORK (AP) - The New York City fire department says it has received a report of an explosion and building collapse in East Harlem.
    
There were no immediate reports of injuries. TV news footage shows smoke billowing from the area.
    
WABC (http://bit.ly/1ki9qQP ) says residents reported hearing a large explosion in an apartment building around 9 a.m. Wednesday. The FDNY says the reports came in from around Park Avenue between 114th and 117th streets.
    
It says fire was reported in the building.

    It may be bad news for a bear spotted several times in an area in Rio Rico the last few weeks, state wildlife workers may have to put it down.  However, they may not have to kill it, IF neighbors change their ways.
