An urban forestry program is offering trees for homes as part of a local clean-up campaign.
Trees for Tucson is holding a meeting to show you how, in cooperation with Good Neighbor Ventures on Thursday, April 3 at 5:30 p.m. at the Quincie Douglas Annex-Meeting Room at 949 E. 35th Street.
Trees for Tucson was started in 1989 by Tucson Clean and Beautiful, Inc. to help get thousands of trees planted in order to cool and beautify our community.
Whether renting or owning, the program says there are options for everyone. Attendees will also learn more about an upcoming clean-up event to keep the South Park area beautiful.
