One injured in house fire in Sabino Canyon

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

One person was injured in an overnight house fire in theSabino Canyon area.

Rural/Metro crews were called to a residential fire in the5100 block of N. Placita Solitaria, late on Wednesday evening.

According to a Rural/Metro release the first crewsarrived on scene to find smoke and flames coming from the front of the home,they worked quickly to bring the fire under control.

One person was taken to a local hospital for treatment ofminor injuries, according to the release. The status of the person is not known at this time.

The source and cause of the fire is not known, saidRural/Metro Captain Grant Cesarek, an investigation is currently beingconducted.
