PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Authorities have arrested brothers who they believe shot and killed a bouncer at a Phoenix bar last month.
Phoenix police said Alex Ray Flores, 21, was arrested on Wednesday on charges of first-degree murder, burglary, endangerment and misconduct involving weapons.
His brother, Max Flores, 22, was also arrested.
Detectives said the Flores brothers were drinking at Mi Ranchito Dancing Bar near 32nd and Oak streets, and when the bar closed they attempted to leave the bar with beer, police said.
Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson said Jesus Rafael Lozano-Vidal, 33, was not working the night of the attack, however he was helping coworkers clear out the bar at closing time early Friday morning when he noticed the two men were leaving with beer. He told him he couldn't take the bottle, there was an argument and Lozano-Vidal was shot at the front door, police said.
Lozano-Vidal was taken to a hospital where he died, according to police.
Police said Max Flores was shot in the arm by his brother during the fight.
