(RNN) - Sometimes when two very quirky worlds collide, it just works. Case in point - Zooey Deschanel and Prince teaming up for his latest single, FALLINLOVE2NITE (Prince's spelling, not ours).

We wouldn't have put the two together in a million years, but hey, if it works, it works and we can't argue with that.

If you were one of the few who watched until the very end of this year's pummeling - ahem - Super Bowl XLVIII, you may have witnessed a rather random appearance by Prince on Deschanel's sitcom New Girl.

Prince and Deschanel previewed FALLINLOVE2NITE in one of the episode's final scenes, which little did we know, would lead to the full version a little over a month later.

But now we have the whole thing, and it isn't half bad. As a matter of fact, you may soon be adding it to your karaoke list and weekend dance jams.

'Out Among the Stars'

More than a decade after his death, lost recordings from the Man in Black will finally reach the ears of fans.

Out Among the Stars, an album of Johnny Cash songs discovered by his son after his death, will release March 25.

She Used To Love Me A Lot, the debut video, is one of 12 songs recorded in the '80s, but shelved. Cash was later dropped from his record label and the recordings went into archive.

"We were like, my goodness this is a beautiful record that nobody has ever heard," son John Carter Cash told the Associated Press late last year. "Johnny Cash is in the very prime of his voice for his lifetime. He's pitch perfect."

Led Zeppelin to reissue first three albums

This summer, the first three Led Zeppelin albums will be reissued in deluxe remastered additions.

Led Zeppelin (1969), Led Zeppelin II (1969) and Led Zeppelin III (1970) will be reissued in digital, CD, vinyl and deluxe box sets on June 3 and will include previously unreleased bonus tracks (rough mixes, backing tracks, alternative versions and new songs).

The bonus material for Led Zeppelin includes an unreleased live set recorded in Paris on Oct. 10, 1969. Led Zeppelin II bonus material includes alternate mixes, backing tracks and previously unreleased song La La. Led Zeppelin III features studio outtakes and three unheard tracks, Jennings Farm Blues, Bathroom Sound and a cover of Keys to Highway/Trouble in Mind.

The reissue of Led Zeppelin's first three albums is the beginning of a campaign that will rerelease all nine of the band's studio albums, each remastered and featuring bonus tracks.

REM unplugs for Record Store Day

In the past few years, Record Store Day has morphed from underground indie hipster holiday to a national event with the backing of big-name artists.

REM is the latest to get on board, releasing Unplugged: The Complete 1991 and 2001 Sessions for this year's Record Store Day on April 19, according to Rolling Stone.

The four-LP set will, true to the holiday, release as vinyl first, followed by CD and digital in May.

But what would it sound like if it was performed by other cartoon and film characters? If that's the question keeping you up at night, thankfully you no longer have to wonder – or compromise your REM's, productivity and all-around sanity.

Brian Hull channeled the voices of Winnie The Pooh, Capt. Jack Sparrow, Mickey Mouse and a handful of others. And more six million views and counting later, we think it's a hit.
