TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A trailer fire on Interstate 10 near Ina is causing backup for westbound traffic.

Capt. Adam Goldberg with Northwest Fire District said a trailer full of hay that caught fire was extinguished but the on-ramp at Ina Road is closed.

The driver told Tucson News Now he was transporting 30 bales of hay to California. He said he didn't realize the hay was on fire until other drivers flagged him down. He looked in his rear view mirror and saw smoke, he said.

No injuries were reported.
