TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

No plane. No answers.

That's the reality rightnow in the search for the missing Malaysian airliner MH 370 and now the FBI ishelping try to solve the mystery.

It's examining aflight simulator that the pilot had at his house. It seems that some of the fileson that simulator were deleted last month.

We know the plane movedoff its course before the co-pilot said goodnight to air traffic control.

26countries continue to look in the ocean for the plane in an area the size of Australia, bigger than the United States.

How hard is it to find that210-foot-long plane?

The Washington Post shows a map to help explain why this goes beyond searching for a needle in ahaystack.

The original searchcovered 120,000 square nautical miles over the South China Sea and Malaysia.

Now, the surface area ofthe expanded search stretches from Kazakhstan to Australia, a total of 2.24million square nautical miles.
