TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild will proclaim thisRace for the Cure Week at the Susan G. Komen Southern Arizona Race for the Cureon Sunday.

Rothschild is making the proclamation to encouragemembers of the community to support Susan G. Komen and participate or volunteerin the race, which raises money and awareness for breast cancer.

Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from the racestay within Southern Arizona and go toward grants for research and services forwomen and men fighting breast cancer.
