Charter One Bank robbery suspect arrested

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The man Toledo Police say robbed a Charter One Bank on Saturday is behind bars.

Police say at approximately 12:25 PM on Saturday, Ryan Shumaker, age 27, was dropped off  and  walked into the Charter One Bank on S. Detroit Avenue where he demanded money.

The suspect then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Less than an hour later, crews were able to locate the getaway car and the driver on the east side.

Shumaker was booked into the Lucas County Jail on Sunday morning at 10 am and charged with Aggravated Robbery.

    William Huff terrorized Sierra Vista during the spring and summer of 1967. Despite a sentence of 40 years to life, the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency voted to release him from prison into home arrest. Family members of the victims are concerned for the safety of the community, as are new members of the Clemency Board. CBS 5 Investigates videotaped Huff riding a bike through his Tucson neighborhood. There are no restrictions placed on his proximity to children.
