TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A man was taken to the hospital after his motorcycle collided with a minivan near Tanque Verde and Woodland Road Saturday afternoon, according to Tucson Police Department PIO Pete Dugan.

The accident occurred just after noon when the motorcyclist in his 20s collided with a minivan on Tanque Verde. He injuries were originally considered life-threatening, but his condition is no longer considered to be as severe. No one else was hurt.

Traffic was closed eastbound at the scene but has since been reopened.
