Richmond in top 10 worst US cities for allergies

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond is one of the top 10 most challenging cities to live in with allergies this spring.

The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America released the list after comparing pollen scores, number of allergy medications used per patient and number of allergy specialists per patient.

Here are the top 10:

10. McAllen, TX
9. Birmingham, AL
8. Richmond, VA
7. Dallas, TX
6. Chattanooga, TN
5. Jackson, MS
4. Oklahoma City, OK
3. Baton Rouge, LA
2. Memphis, TN
1. Louisville, KY
