Tucson hosting meetings on water outlook

April is water awareness month and because Tucson is in the desert, it's especially important for Tucsonans to be conscious about water use.

The City of Tucson is holding one of several meetings this month to discuss this very precious commodity.  Several city council members and Tucson Water staff will be on hand to discuss the future of water in Tucson.

Topics to be discussed will be present and future water resources, the long-range planning, water quality and safety, and investments in infrastructure and technology.  Drought conditions will also be discussed. 

Tonight's meeting will take place from 6 to 7:30  at the Pima County Housing Center (801 W. Congress) near Linda Avenue west of I-10.
