Job Crawl a unique twist on traditional job fair

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson is hosting a unique twist on a traditional job fair, with the Tucson Job Crawl "Not your Normal Job Fair."

For employers looking for a student for an internship or to fill an open position, this might be just the place, as every year hundreds of UA's top students attend the event.

A job crawl is a twist on the normal job fair, which helps take off the usual pressures found at a traditional job fair. Those are generally held in banquet halls or convention centers and can be quite intimidating.

The job crawl will take place today from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Gentle Ben's (865 E. University Blvd.).  Tucson start-up companies, technology companies and other innovative businesses will be there looking for potential employees and interns.  They will be offering both full time jobs and seasonal paid and unpaid positions.

A suit and tie are not required. Simply look presentable and bring a resume if you have one.

Potential job seekers and employers will have access to the bar and food during the crawl.

There will be an after-hours reception from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., to help celebrate another successful crawl.
