TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

TODAY'S MOST...Interesting "teaching moment" from a parent: A father was upset that his daughter wouldn't clean up her room, so he moved her entire room into the driveway of the family home.

Craig Schlichenmeyer put everything out in the driveway, including the bed, the desk, the bookshelf, and the computer. He added a huge sign saying "Haley's room moved to driveway, clean it next time."

Schlichenmeyer is a member of the military in Georgia. He says his daughter is a fantastic child and he didn't mean to humiliate her in any way. He says "my intent was to surprise her a little bit and to take ownership of her room and doing the right thing when we tell her to clean it up we mean clean it up."

The pictures of his version of discipline's gone viral, and he's gotten a lot of negative on social media. Schlichenmeyer says he's simply raising his daughter in a way he sees fit.
