TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

There are a few dates in April that drivers, who use I-10, should remember.  It's all due to utility work taking place on the interstate.

I-10 will be closed in both directions at Speedway Blvd. and St. Mary's Rd. on certain Sundays beginning April 6.  The closure is expected to begin at 8 p.m. and last until 5 a.m.

Drivers will be detoured to the frontage road during the closures.

Work on at the Speedway exit will take place on April 6 and 13.  Traffic will detour to the frontage road at the exit ramp and then back on at the entrance ramp.

Work at St. Mary's Rd. will take place on April 27 and May 4.  Eastbound I-10 traffic will be detoured to the frontage road at Speedway Blvd exit ramp, and then back onto I-10 at the Congress Rd. entrance ramp.  Westbound I-10 traffic will detour to the frontage at Congress Rd. exit and back onto I-10 at the Speedway Blvd. entrance ramp.
