TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Oro Valley Police Department is continuing its High Visibility Enforcement (HiVE) in April.

There will be an increased OVPD presence on Oracle Rd. at the Magee and Suffolk intersections during these days:

April 9 - 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

April 15 - 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

April 17 - 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

April 23 - 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

April 29 - 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

OVPD is hoping to increase awareness and help reduce collisions related to inattention, following too closely and failing to yield to other drivers.

Pima County Sheriff's Department will also be participating in April's HiVE activities.

Motorists are asked to be aware of the additional enforcement and drive safely.
