(RNN) – Army Specialist Ivan Lopez allegedly opened fire at Fort Hood in Texas on Wednesday, killing three and injuring 16. Authorities found Lopez dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Obama administration met its goal for the Affordable Care Act by its designated deadline. More than seven million people enrolled through the Healthcare.gov website.

General Motors recalled another 1.3 million vehicle models this week with power steering issues. The most recent announcement pushes the total number of recalled vehicles to 6.1 million since February.
