    What started out as calm soon turned to chaos, as people outside the building where President Trump spoke in Phoenix began throwing rocks and bottles at police officers.

    A strong storm moved through midtown Tuesday night August 22, and brought down several trees. One tree fell on building 7 at the Talavera Apartments at Flowing Wells Road and Rodger Rd.     President Donald Trump was in Phoenix for a rally Tuesday night but there were fireworks outside the convention center long before the start of the event.

    President Donald Trump was in Phoenix for a rally Tuesday night but there were fireworks outside the convention center long before the start of the event.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Pima County Sheriff's Department deputy was involved in an accident that closed down a street on the northeast side, late Sunday evening.

The incident happened on southbound Sabino Canyon Rd. near Arrowhead Dr.  Travel was down to one lane as PCSD officials investigated the collision.  According to PCSD reports the deputy had been conducting a traffic stop, on the side of the road, when a second vehicle ran into the patrol vehicle pushing it toward the deputy. 

The deputy was able to move out of the way of the vehicle and was not injured, according to the PCSD release.  The suspect, in the second vehicle has been detained and charges are pending.  There is no word yet on what those charges are.  No other injuries were reported.

Brandon MIchael Council was arrested in Greenville, North Carolina Wednesday, along with two other people, authorities there confirmed.  Brandon Michael Council was wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of two CresCom bank employees during a bank robbery at the CresCom Bank in Conway on Monday afternoon.
