Suspects in Walmart armed robbery identified, arrested

Suspects in an armed robbery were identified and arrested over the weekend.

On Saturday Lynn Hester Randall and Raquel Jemming were arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a Walmart on Houghton Road in January. 

According to a Tucson Police Department release, Jemming turned herself in after seeing her photo on the news. Randall was already in the Pima County Jail on separate charges when police confirmed his alleged involvement in the Jan. 4 incident.

Jemming faces charges of one count of aggravated robbery and one count of armed robbery.  Randall is now facing additional charges of one count of aggravated robbery, one count of armed robbery and four counts of aggravated assault.

In the incident, a Walmart loss prevention employee observed Jemming allegedly putting merchandise in her purse.  Jemming then was seen leaving the store with Randall.  According to the TPD release, Randall allegedly pulled a knife on the three loss prevention employees who tried to stop them from leaving, telling them not to touch Jemming.  The two then got into a vehicle and fled the area.

Both are currently booked into the Pima County Jail.
