Tucson, AZ – The Pima Community College women's basketball program welcomed nine new players on Wednesday as they signed their letters of intent to play for the Lady Aztecs starting in the 2014-15 season.

Chancellor Lee Lambert, Athletic Director Edgar Soto and Head Coach Todd Holthaus welcomed the honored guests and their family and friends. The nine new players joined the coaches and current players in a team photo and their first team huddle.

The nine players who signed their letters of intent to play for Pima were:
Kristin Baldwin (Thatcher HS) – 6-2 Forward

Katie Bell (Nogales HS) – 5-11 Forward

Sharrena Doby (Desert Edge HS) – 6-0 Forward

Shalise Fernander (Flowing Wells HS) – 5-11 Forward

Hailey Jones (Canyon del Oro HS) – 5-5 Guard

Ashlee Mack (Quest Prep in Las Vegas, NV) – 6-0 Forward

Jahnae Martin (Desert Vista HS) – 5-4 Guard

Samirah Miller (Basha HS) – 5-7 Guard

Hayley Pryor (Basha HS) – 5-10 Forward

The women's basketball season begins in October.
