It's a beautiful afternoon, and you're outside in the park. Then, a powerful thunderstorm moves in within minutes. There are no nearby structures or buildings for shelter, but your car is nearby so you make a run for it. After all, the tires will protect you from lightning strikes, right?Wrong. It's an idea that was first thought of in the late 1800s, on bicycles. A rubber tire is an insulator, so it is very difficult for it to conduct electricity. The same with rubber-soled shoes. The problem...

The tattoo has not previously been seen widely by the public because cameras are not allowed inside Indiana courtrooms. The Indiana Office of the Courts released the photo on July 30 as part of evidence logged in by police and presented to the court by the Floyd County Prosecutor's Office.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Easter is this weekend and the Salvation Army is in need of donations for its annual community breakfast to feed those in need.

According to the Salvation Army they have not had many donations.  It is easy to donate and there are two ways to give. The first is to donate food items that can be found at the local grocery store.

Items like pre-cooked spiral sliced hams, eggs, fresh fruit, orange juice and milk are needed.  In addition to these breakfast items they need Easter candy and baskets to hand out to children that attend the event.

Those interested in donating may drop their contributions off at the Hospitality House (1021 N. 11th Ave., Tucson, 85705) near Speedway and Main.

A second way to help is by donating money. The Salvation Army is taking monetary donations for the breakfast.  For those who are not able to make it to a grocery store, but would like to help with the community breakfast the deadline to donate is Friday.

The annual Salvation Army Easter Breakfast, will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on April 19 at the Hospitality House.
