TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A local running club is asking communities to come together online today in memory of those who died and to pay tribute to the more than 200 survivors in last year's Boston Marathon bombings.

April 15 marks one year since two bombs went off near the race finish line, killing three people.

The Southern Arizona Roadrunners say "We are all runners today." They're encouraging people to post pictures of them running to their Facebook page to put them together for an album.

Today in Boston, the city stopped just before noon Tucson time to observe a moment of silence at the exact time the bombs went off. Survivors and first responders came together at a special tribute not far from the finish line.

71 runners from Southern Arizona are registered to take part in the upcoming Boston Marathon.
