PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Detectives from the Tempe Police Department arrested a man Friday and booked him into jail on 13 sex-related charges, including sex abuse and sexual conduct with a minor.

The victim's mother accompanied the teen to the Tempe Police Department on Thursday to report the alleged incidents.

The victim told authorities from the time she was 12, Laron Martinez, 36, allegedly fondled and inappropriately touched her on many occasions.

The victim also alleged that Martinez inappropriately touched her during a ride to a Tempe Walmart on Christmas Eve.

The victim's mother provided three videos to police. Computer forensic detectives provided numerous still frames of each video and those were shown to the girl and her mother, according to a court document. The victim was able to identify numerous items of her clothing, furniture, and household decorations from the still frames, police said.

On Thursday, the girl and her mother escorted detectives to her house. They turned over two pairs of shorts, a shoe, two pillows and a rug which had been seen in the videos, according to a probable cause statement.

Police received a statement from another victim who alleged when she was between 12 and 14, Martinez  inappropriately touched her. She reported there were too many incidents for her to remember any specifics, the court document said.
