TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Arizona Department of Transportation is going high tech these days, it now has a mobile version of its website.

This version of the ADOT website will make things easier for smartphone and tablet users.

Here's how it works:

The ADOT web server automatically recognizes mobile devices and loads the mobile version of the site when smartphone and tablet user go to the ADOT website.

Customers will have access to the Motor Vehicle Division online and its online services.  Users will now be able to renew vehicle registration and sign up for personalized plates.

There will also be links to ADOT's traveler information system and to its Twitter account for up to date information.

For those who still would like to access the full website and not just the mobile version, there is a tab they can click to access the full site.

To access the ADOT site click here - azdot.gov.
