TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Marana Unified School District administrator receives the Higher Education Division Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Member award. 

Dr. Marianne Castellon, the Director of Educational Services for MUSD was given the honor by the Arizona School Administrators. 

She was honored on April 11, at the 2014 Arizona Professors of Educational Administration Conference at the Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. 

In order to be nominated for the Adjunct Faculty awards, a person must first be a faculty member with at least three years of teaching for the higher education institution, receive above average student evaluations, as well as being a member of Arizona School Administrators.  Dr. Castellon was nominated by the U of A Department of Education/Educational Leadership Program.
