    The 35th annual El Tour de Tucson is scheduled for Saturday. The main race, a 106-mile run around the city, begins at 7 a.m. and will end at approximately 5 p.m at Armory Park, located at 13th Street and Sixth Avenue. The other routes -- 76, 54, 37 and 28 miles as well as fun rides -- will start at different times and locations but will all end at Armory Park.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Construction continues this week on a three mile stretch of I-10 between Benson and Vail. 

Lanes will be closed on both directions of the freeway from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday. This is near the Marsh Station Interchange.

Drivers must slow down to 45 miles per hour in the area and can only use one open lane in each direction. Plan for extra travel time in both your morning and evening commutes.  

This construction is part of a $17.2 million plan to separate eastbound and westbound I-10 by building new alignments in each direction. 

The Arizona Department of Transportation wants to remind everyone to drive safely in construction areas and be aware of workers and barriers. Construction could also change the schedule of this project.
