TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The town of Marana is celebrating Mother's Day the healthy way with its first 5K.

The "Mom's Day 5K" on May 10 will be held at Gladden Farms Community Park at 12250 N. Tangerine Road at 8:30 a.m. Registration opens at 7 a.m. for $20, or participants can register before April 29 for $15, according to a news release.

Race officials said there will be kids' activities, vendors and a raffle. All moms will get a flower at the finish line and every participant receives an event shirt and raffle entry. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.
