TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A man wanted in connection with a shooting on April 19 turned himself in to authorities today.

According to the Pima County Sheriff's office, Rene Bravo turned himself in at the Pima County Adult Detention Center at about 11 AM on Friday, less than 48 hours after officials released surveillance video from the Palo Verde Bar and Grill.  Deputies said the video showed Bravo and another man can be seen in the video shooting and beating a victim on the ground.

Deputies say it happened last weekend, around closing time at the bar located in the 5800 block of S. Palo Verde Road.  Three victims, two men and woman, were taken to the trauma center for severe injuries.  One of the victims was shot in the stomach and thigh, all three were badly beaten.

Detectives were still investigating a motive for the crime.  Deputies said it appeared to be an unprovoked attack.

Witnesses at the bar described it as a chaotic and scary night.  Christina Viramontes was there with a friend that night.  She was inside the bar, when she heard the gunshots.

"I straight saw the person you know, just pow pow pow.  I felt like I heard the gun shots fall on the floor, that's how close it was then we just seen people running. I was by the window, we just stood in the corner, frozen you know, scared for our lives," said Viramontes.

We attempted to talk to management at Palo Verde Bar and Grill and they declined our request for comment.
