Pre-evacuation notices issued due to Aerostat Fire

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A fire burning in the lower Garden Canyon in Fort Huachuca has Cochise County Sheriff's Department issuing pre-evacuation notices in Choctaw and Calle Encinas, according to CCSD PIO Carol Capas.

Cochise County Sheriff's Office responding to Choctaw and Calle Encinas to begin pre-evacuation notices at the request of Sierra Vista Fire. 

The fire has been designated as the Aerostat Fire. Authorities have determined that there is a potential danger to structures in the area.

Cochise County Sheriff's Department is urging people to avoid the area and adhere to pre-evacuation notices in the Choctaw and Calle Encinas areas.

It is not yet known how large the fire is or what may have cause it.
