TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A construction worker has been taken to the hospital with minor injuries after being rescued from a 15-foot trench he reportedly fell into while working.

The Tucson Fire Department Technical Rescue team rescued the man who fell at the construction site on Broadway, near Houghton. TFD officials said the rescue was tricky because the firefighters had to take precautions to avoid any chance that the trench sides could collapse.

An investigation is ongoing.
