Victims identified in Murfreesboro double homicide

MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

Murfreesboro police have identified the two men who were found shot early Tuesday in an apparent double murder.

Officers found one person dead and another person injured when they were called to the 2200 block of Sycamore Circle for a shooting around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday.

The injured person died shortly after being taken to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Police identified the victims as Robert Aubrey McAdoo Jr., 43, and Michael Orlando Evans, 47, both of Murfreesboro.

No arrests have been made in the case so far.

The CID Gang Investigation Unit is investigating this case, and anyone with information is asked to call the CID at 893-2717 or CrimeStoppers at 893-STOP (7867).
