TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A San Tan Valley teen accused of multiple sexual offenses was arrested on Monday, according to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.

According to a news release, Tyler Kost, 18, was arrested and booked into the Pinal County Jail for two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor related to one of the cases. Detectives are continuing their investigation of the other cases.

Kost was released after posting bond, which a judge set at $10,000.

Someone called the Sheriff's Office to report that Kost, a student at Poston Butte High School, had allegedly sexually assaulted, sexually abused and molested five teenage girls in the San Tan Valley area, the release said.

The release said detectives have identified 13 alleged victims, who are high school students. One is 13 years old.

According to the release, one victim reported that she attempted to commit suicide after Kost allegedly threatened her, harassed her and told her to kill herself. She reported that she received a message from him while she was in the hospital, allegedly threatening to "make her life a living hell" if she returned to school. She has moved out of state, authorities say.
